All-rounder
A talented athlete who was previously on Carlton’s AFLW list, cricket is lucky that Courtney Webb chose this sport. Originally from Tasmania, Webb made her WNCL debut for the Tigers as an 18-year-old – playing predominantly as an all-rounder. Ahead of the 2020/21 season, Webb made the move to South Australia in the hope of securing a top four batting position and that she did. Webb is now a two-time McCauley Medallist as the SA Scorpions best player, as well as becoming the first Scorpions in over a decade to win the WNCL Player of the Tournament Award for her 2022/23 season which wielded her maiden WNCL century. That outstanding campaign earned Webb a position in the Australia A squad for the tour of the UK in 2023.
