In anticipation of consistent, world-class international fixtures in upcoming years, SACA is excited to deliver an enhanced Members' experience through upgraded facilities, including a bigger and better Village Green and increased Members’ area seating and facilities in the Riverbank Stand.  

In response to historically strong attendances, we will be increasing our Member base by an estimated 10% this season. It will be the first time since the Adelaide Oval redevelopment that such a large intake has taken place, which will see more cricket fans given the opportunity to enjoy this spectacular period of international cricket.

Seating and Entry  

Our Members' match day experience is first class, with access to premium seats in the Western Stand and Riverbank Stand. Membership of the SACA allows you entry to Adelaide Oval and the SACA Members’ Area for all International Matches including Test, One Day, and T20 International Matches as well as BBL, WBBL and Domestic Matches.  

No additional entry ticket is required for the above mentioned matches when using your SACA Membership. SACA Members' seating is non-allocated, which gives Members the flexibility to sit with other Members within the SACA Members' Area. 

If you'd prefer a reserved seat within the SACA Members' Area, SACA Members can purchase Daily Seat Holds (subject to availability) or upgrade to a Reserved Seat Membership (subject to availability). 

Age Requirements 

An application for the Membership waitlist may be lodged at any time irrespective of the age of the applicant. No applicant shall be offered Membership until they have reached the top of the waitlist and is at least 10 years of age (on or before 31 August). Applicants aged between 10- 14 years that choose not to accept the offer of membership will automatically be added back on the waitlist and the applicant will be re-offered again at the age of 15. 

SACA recommends Members add their child/grandchild to the SACA Membership Waitlist as young as possible to ensure that once they turn 10 years of age they have the best chance of being eligible for a membership offer.

What is the 2024/25 summer of cricket fixture?

We are excited to welcome India, England and Pakistan to Adelaide Oval for blockbuster matches!  

Dettol Men’s ODI Series v Pakistan 
8 November 2024, Day/Night  

NRMA Insurance Men’s Test Series v India 
6-10 December 2024, Day/Night  

CommBank Women’s Ashes T20I  
25 January 2025, Night 

Adelaide Oval will also host Adelaide Strikers BBL and WBBL matches, as well as South Australian Men and Women’s Domestic matches. We anticipate these fixtures soon.  

Where will the SACA Members’ Area be?

We know our Members have different preferences for where they like to sit and view the cricket from, that’s why we have endeavoured to provide our Members the best seat in the house!  

Members will have access to Members’ Area seating in the Western Stand, Level Three of the Riverbank Stand, and sections of Level Five of the Riverbank Stand.  

Will I be able to sit in my favourite seat?

SACA Members have access to the most premium seats at Adelaide Oval. Seating in the Members’ Area is non-allocated and is available on a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis. Members wishing to reserve a seat can purchase a Daily Seat Hold for each match day, which are located in Bays 304 & 305 of the Sir Edwin Smith Stand (Western Stand).   

You can select an available seat in the Chappell Stand, Sir Donald Bradman pavilion, and the Sir Edwin Smith Stand (Western Stand), as well as Level Three in the Riverbank Stand. During internal matches, seating will also include sections of the Level Five Riverbank Stand.  

During Cricket Australia international matches, Members are issued a Reserve Seat Sticker upon entry to Adelaide Oval.  

Can SACA Members move between the Western Stand and Riverbank Stand?

Yes! SACA Members will have access to both the Western Stand and Level 3 and Level 5 of the Riverbank Stand. There will be Member checkpoints when moving between the Stands.  

Will there be a Reserved Seat Membership Bay in the Riverbank Stand?

The Reserve Seat Membership allocation will remain unchanged in Bays 304 and 305 of the Sir Edwin Smith Stand (Western Stand).  

What Member Facilities will be available on Level Five of the Riverbank Stand?

To accommodate our expanding Member base, we are upgrading facilities in the Riverbank Stand for SACA Members. Members will now enjoy a consistent standard of SACA Member Facilities and benefits throughout both the Riverbank and Western Stand, and of course the Village Green.  

Members will receive communication about the mouth-watering food and beverage vendors closer to International Matches.  

How will the Village Green be improved?

In the addition to new facilities in the Riverbank Stand, the Village Green will be bigger and better with new food and beverage vendors, capacity expansion and other exclusive Member offerings!  

Will Transferable Associate Cards be available?

Members will have the opportunity to purchase a Transferable Associate Card (subject to availability) during the renewal period, allowing the user entry into Adelaide Oval and the SACA Members’ Area.  

Will Daily Guest Passes be available?

A daily Guest Pass provides entry into Adelaide Oval and the SACA Members’ Area. SACA Members continue to have the opportunity to purchase daily Guest Passes on selected match days throughout the season.

Members can purchase daily Guest passes for Days Four and Five of the Men’s International Test Match, the Men’s ODI, the Women’s T20I and Adelaide Strikers matches. Members can also access up to five complimentary Guest Passes for domestic matches at Adelaide Oval.  

Can I bring my child/grandchild under 10 to the Members’ Area?

Yes, there has been no change to this great benefit!  

SACA Members’ children and grandchildren who are nine years of age or younger as at 1 September of the Membership year have free entry into Adelaide Oval and the SACA Members’ Area when accompanied by the SACA Member. This entitlement relates to Cricket Australia International, Adelaide Strikers and domestic cricket matches.

How do I join the SACA Waitlist?

Click the link above or here and fill out your details as prompted and pay the $40 waitlist joining fee. There are no other ongoing waitlist fees.  

What happens once I’ve lodged my application form?

You will be sent an email acknowledging your application. For the upcoming season, offers will be emailed between June and October 2024. Please ensure your contact details are kept up to date. You can update your details here.  

When will I receive a SACA Membership Offer?

Eligible waitlist Members who have joined the waitlist since 17 May 2024 and 30 June 2024 will receive an offer of Membership from mid-July.

To be eligible for a Membership offer you have reached the top of the waitlist and must be 10 years of age or older as at August 31 2024. Memberships are offered are offered in order of the waitlist.  

I joined the waitlist after 30 June 2024; when will I receive an offer? 

Eligible waitlist Members who have joined the waitlist after 30 June 2024 will receive an offer of Membership when the SACA Board determines the next opening. 

I joined the waitlist before 17 May 2024; when will I be receiving an offer?

Eligible waitlisted Members, who are on the waitlist prior to 17 May 2024, should have received communication from SACA via email regarding their offer for Membership. If you have not – please check your junk mail or contact Member Services.

What fees are applicable when joining as a SACA Member?

Once you receive an offer of Membership, a once-off Entrance Fee (currently $320) and the annual Membership Subscription Fee must be paid. The Entrance Fee is waived for Junior Members.   
  
Membership Subscription Fees for the 2024/25 Membership season area:  

Full Membership Subscription Fee - $415 
Country Membership Subscription Fee - $360  
Junior Membership Subscription Fee - $230  

Do I have to accept the SACA Membership when I receive my offer?

Applicants aged 15 years and over:  
If you choose not to accept the offer of SACA Membership, your Membership offer will be cancelled and your name will not be added to the end of the waitlist. You will be required to re-apply to the waitlist if you wish to receive another Membership offer in the future.  
  
Applicants aged 10-14 years:  
If you choose not to accept the offer of SACA Membership your waitlist position will be preserved and you will be re-offered at age 15. If you wish to take up the deferred offer before the age of 15 you can do so by contacting SACA. Please note that if you were referred by an existing SACA Member during the Member referral promotional period, the $20 discount on Membership benefit cannot be deferred and is only applicable to 2024/25 Season Membership fees.

As a result of the SACA Members’ Area expanding, Members can except bigger and better facilities such as The Village Green and significant upgrades to the Lindsay Head Terrace Bar on Level 5 of the Riverbank Stand.
