Darcie Brown is a sporting dynamo, having played cricket, netball, football and basketball at a high level. Luckily for the game of cricket, the kid from Kapunda in the Barossa Valley chose to focus on cricket and she made the Australian Under 19s side at the age of 15, with the selectors impressed by the speed of her bowling. Shortly after, she moved to Adelaide and earned her first SA Scorpions contract, as well as becoming the youngest player male or female to sign for the Adelaide Strikers. Since then, Brown has become a regular for the Australia side and has won World Cups, Ashes Series and Commonwealth Games Gold, whilst always contributing to the Scorpions when available.
