Anesu Mushangwe is a talented right-hand leg-spinner who has experience at international level. She has played 21 Twenty20 Internationals for her native Zimbabwe, taking 33 wickets at an outstanding economy of just 3.1. Since moving to Australia in 2019, Mushangwe has proven a force in SACA Premier Cricket, finishing as Glenelg’s leading wicket-taker in 2021/22’s First-Grade and T20 competitions to earn a place in the Premier Cricket Women’s Team of the Year. The following season, Mushangwe became the first Zimbabwean to play WBBL when she debuted for the Adelaide Strikers, before making her WNCL debut for the SA Scorpions. She impressed, taking a four-wicket haul in the WNCL Final and earning her first full contract ahead of the 2023/24 season.

At SACA we are proud to live, work and play cricket on Kaurna land. We acknowledge the Kaurna people as the Traditional Custodians of this country and we pay our respects to Kaurna Elders past, present and emerging.
We also extend that respect to all traditional owners of country throughout South Australia.
