An all-round team performance has seen South Australia jump to the top of the One Day Cup table, after defeating New South Wales by six wickets at Adelaide Oval on Tuesday afternoon.
Alex Carey won the toss and sent the visitors in on a warm morning in Adelaide.
New South Wales were watchful early, before losing their first wicket in the 10th over, thanks to a nice outfield catch by Jake Lehmann off the bowling of Liam Scott.
Jason Sangha (2/16) and Scott then combined for the next three wickets to leave NSW 4/54.
Debutant Lachlan Shaw (25), Matthew Gilkes (35), skipper Jack Edwards (35) and Chris Green (32) tried to steady the innings, but Harry Conway (3/27), Scott (2/31) and Lloyd Pope (2/44) continued to break partnerships, dismissing the visitors for 197.
Jack Nisbett was on the money early, dismissing Mackenzie Harvey and Daniel Drew with consecutive deliveries, before Carey and Thomas Kelly combined for a 94-run stand.
Carey (75 from 63) continued his stunning form, reaching another half century, before he and Kelly were dismissed quickly to give the visitors a sniff of victory.
Lehmann (46*) and Scott (42*) insured there would be no further collapse, as the two guided South Australia to a bonus-point victory in front of their home crowd.
South Australia and New South Wales will now face-off against each other in the Sheffield Shield on Thursday 14 November at Karen Rolton Oval.
