The South Australia Women are looking to continue their winning start to the WNCL season against Tasmania this Friday, 4 October and Sunday, 6 October at Karen Rolton Oval.
The team have selected 13 players, including all-rounder Hollie Armitage who will make her debut for South Australia if selected.
Squad of 13: Hollie Armitage, Courtney Neale, Jemma Barsby, Annie O’Neil, Emma De Broughe, Bridget Patterson, Emmerson Filsell, Maddie Penna, Ellie Johnston, Kate Peterson, Eleanor Larosa, Courtney Webb and Amanda Jade Wellington.
There were many impressive individual performances in the first two WNCL games, including half centuries to Jemma Barsby, Eleanor Larosa, Courtney Webb and Ellie Johnston. Our bowling attack was also strong taking a share of the ACT wickets and a standout performance for Emma de Broughe with figures of 3/2.
Both SA and Tasmania sit at the top of the WNCL ladder after the first two rounds which assures a tight contest this weekend.
