2024/25 Domestic Fixture

South Australia’s cricket teams will have an action packed seven months over summer, as they travel the country for the 2024/25 domestic cricket season.

The women’s side, under new coach Michael Delaney, will get their season underway at home, with their first two WNCL rounds set to be held at Karen Rolton Oval during late September and early October.

Meanwhile, new captain Nathan McSweeney will lead South Australia for the first time in New South Wales, as the men start both their Sheffield Shield and One Day Cup campaigns at Cricket Central.

Fans will have to wait until early November to watch the men’s side at home, with a Sheffield Shield match set for Adelaide Oval starting Friday, November 1, followed by a One Day Cup match at Karen Rolton Oval on Wednesday, November 6.

The Adelaide Strikers will host matches for the inaugural T20 Spring Challenge at Karen Rolton Oval which kicks off Friday, October 11 when the WBBL Strikers take on Perth Scorchers. The T20 Spring Challenge matches will be played between Adelaide and Sydney.

Overall, South Australia will host a total of 17 matches – five Shield matches and three One Day Cup matches at Adelaide Oval and Karen Rolton Oval, six WNCL fixtures at Karen Rolton Oval and four T20 Spring Challenge matches at Karen Rolton Oval.

The fixture announcement comes as both the men’s squad and women’s squad were finalised in recent months.
