Membership of the South Australian Cricket Association is divided into the following classes:
Financial Membership
Full - Full Members must be aged at least 18 years old and live within 80 kms of the Adelaide GPO or outside Australia. A Full Member has the opportunity to purchase a Transferable Associate Card each season (subject to availability).
Full Members have voting rights.
Country - Country Members must be aged at least 18 years old and live more than 80 kms from the Adelaide GPO by the shortest rail or road route; or live in any other Australian State or Territory.
Country Members have the same rights and privileges as Full Members.
Junior - Junior Members must be aged 10 to 17 years old as at 1 September for the Membership year. Members turning 18 during the season will remain as Juniors until the next year when they will transfer to Full, Country or Reserved Seat Membership. A Junior Member has the opportunity to purchase a Transferable Associate Card each season (subject to availability).
Junior Members do not have voting rights.
Adult Reserved Seat - Adult Reserved Seat Members must be aged at least 18 years old. Adult Reserved Seat Members have the same benefits of Full Membership, plus the confidence of a reserved seat at Adelaide Oval for Cricket Australia men’s international matches. An Adult Reserved Seat Member has the opportunity to purchase a Transferable Associate Card or a Reserved Seat Transferable Associate Card each season (subject to availability).
Adult Reserved Seat Members have voting rights. As the SACA Constitution requires that Member Elected Directors on the SACA Board must be Full or Country Members at all times during their appointment, an Adult Reserved Seat Members is not eligible to nominate for or hold office as a Member Elected Director.
Junior Reserved Seat - Junior Members must be aged 10 to 17 years old as at 1 September of the Membership year. Junior Reserved Seat Members have the same benefits of Junior Membership, plus the confidence of a reserved seat at Adelaide Oval for Cricket Australia men’s international matches. Members turning 18 during the season will remain as Juniors until the next year when they will transfer to Full, Country or Adult Reserved Seat Membership. A Junior Reserved Seat Member has the option to purchase a Transferable Associate Card or Reserved Seat Transferable Associate Card each season (subject to availability).

Adult SACA Big Bash – Adult SACA Big Bash Members must be aged at least 18 years old. SACA Big Bash Membership permits access to Adelaide Strikers matches at Adelaide Oval and Karen Rolton Oval. SACA Big Bash Members do not get access to international and domestic matches. A SACA Big Bash Member does not have the option to purchase a Transferable Associate Card each season.
SACA Big Bash Members do not have voting rights.
Junior SACA Big Bash – Junior SACA Big Bash Members must be aged 10 – 17 years old as at 1 September of the Membership year. SACA Big Bash Membership permits access to Adelaide Strikers matches at Adelaide Oval and Karen Rolton Oval. SACA Big Bash Members do not get access to international and domestic matches. A SACA Big Bash Member does not have the option to purchase a Transferable Associate card each season.
SACA Big Bash Members do not have voting rights.
Honorary Membership
Honorary Life - Awarded in recognition of outstanding service to the SACA and the advancement of cricket. Honorary Life Membership is approved at the Annual General Meeting.
Honorary Life Members are exempt from paying fees and have all the privileges of Membership, including voting rights. They receive one Honorary Life Member Card and two Transferable Associate Cards.
Services Rendered - Received at the Board's pleasure for services to cricket. Services Rendered Membership ceases upon death. Services Rendered Members have all the privileges of Full Membership, including voting rights.
Life - Life Members receive one Life Member Card and two Transferable Associate Cards. Life Members have all the privileges of Membership, including voting rights.
Tenured - Members with 65 years' continuous Membership are granted Honorary status by the SACA Board. Members eligible for this category are contacted in August of each year. Members receive one Honorary Member Card and one Transferable Associate Card. All Tenured Members have voting rights.
