TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By and upon renewing your Membership, you accept and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Please read and review them carefully before submitting your renewal.
Capitalised terms have the same meaning given in the SACA Constitution and By-Laws, unless otherwise indicated.
MEMBERSHIP YEAR
- 1 September 2024 to 31 August 2025
MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL DATES
- All Membership fees are due to be paid by 11:59pm (ACST) on 31 August 2024.
- A $50 Late Fee will be charged for all Membership Subscription Fees paid after 31 August 2024 (includes $4.55 GST, as this is a taxable supply). The Late Fee includes a contribution towards additional costs and expenses that SACA incurs in connection with the late processing of your Membership.
- Members who have not paid their relevant 2024/25 Membership Fees (including any Late Fee) by 11:59pm ACDT on 31 October 2024, may have their Membership cancelled by the SACA Board.
MEMBERSHIP CONSENTS
- By and upon renewing Membership, Members consent to be a Member of SACA and accept and agree to be bound by SACA’s Constitution and By-Laws.
MEMBERSHIP KEY DATES 2024/25
- All key dates, including the sale of Daily Guest Passes, Summer of Dining, Daily Seat Holds and car parking will be published online at: saca.com.au/membership/saca-members-match-day-information.
WAITLIST APPLICANTS AGED UP TO 9 YEARS (AS AT 1 SEPTEMBER 2024)
- Under the rules of the Association, an offer of Membership cannot be made to a child until they reach 10 years of age (on or before 31 August 2024).
- Children aged under 10 years of age will remain on the waitlist in the same chronological order as previously, and will be included in future Membership intakes.
WAITLIST APPLICANTS AGED UP TO 10-14 YEARS (AS AT 1 SEPTEMBER 2024)
- Applicants aged 10 – 14 years of age who elect not to accept the Membership Offer will automatically be re-included on the waitlist and the applicant will receive a further offer upon reaching the age of 15. If the applicant wishes to take up the deferred offer prior to the age of 15, please contact Membership Services.
WAITLIST APPLICANTS AGED UP TO 15 YEARS AND OVER (AS AT 1 SEPTEMBER 2024)
- When an applicant’s name has reached the top of the waitlist, they must either accept or reject the Membership Offer within the specified timeframe. No postponement option will be available.
- If an applicant elects not to accept the Membership Offer, their name will be removed from the waitlist. Prior standing and priority in the waitlist will be forfeited. A further membership application will be required to re-join the waitlist.
ABSENTEE LIST
- Full, Country, Junior and Reserved Seat Members can apply to have their name placed on the absentee Placement on the absentee list has the effect of putting your Membership on hold for the 2024/25 season.
- SACA Big Bash Members cannot apply to have their name placed on the absentee
- To qualify for absentee status, the Member is required to be absent from South Australia for a full Membership Year (1 September 2024 to 31 August 2025) or must demonstrate extenuating circumstances, as detailed on the Absentee Application
- An Absentee Fee of $100 applies (includes $9.09 GST, as this is a taxable supply).

- A Late Fee of $50 will be charged for absentee applications received after 31 August 2024 (includes $4.55 GST, as this is a taxable supply). The Late Fee includes a contribution towards additional costs and expenses that SACA incurs in connection with the late processing of your absentee application.
- Members on the absentee list will have most of their applicable Membership rights and benefits suspended for the period they remain on the absentee list, including but not limited to suspension of rights of entry to any Cricket Australia international and domestic matches at Adelaide Oval and Karen Rolton Oval, the right to purchase Transferable Associate Cards or Reserved Seat Transferable Associate Cards and Daily Guest Passes or to book for SACA Member hospitality and
- Any Reserved Seat Member whose name is placed on the absentee list will forego and forfeit their reserved seat(s). MEMBER SEATING
• Full, Country and Junior Members
- For the 2024/25 Men’s international cricket season, seating for Full, Country and Junior SACA Members and their guests will be in the western stand (excluding Bays 304 and 305, which are reserved for Reserved Seat Members and Daily Seat Holds, unless varied), plus Level 3 and sections of Level 5 of the Riverbank
- For Adelaide Strikers BBL matches in the 2024/25 season, seating for Full, Country and Junior SACA Members and their guests will be in the western stand (excluding seats reserved for Daily Seat Holds in Bays 304 and 305), plus Level 3 of the Riverbank
- Seating in the Members’ Area is non-allocated seating and seats are available on a first come, first served basis (except for Bays 304 & 305 which are reserved for Reserved Seat Members’ Area and Daily Seat Holds, unless varied).
- SACA cannot guarantee that a seat in the Members’ Area will be available for every Member, Transferable Associate Card holder or Daily Guest Pass holder (if applicable).
• Reserved Seat Members
- For the 2024/25 cricket season, Reserved Seat Members will, subject to the below, have an allocated reserved seat for all men’s International matches in Level 3 of the western stand, Bays 304 and 305.
- In the event that the above allocated reserved seat area is not available for any reason, Reserved Seat Members will be issued with an alternate reserved seat within the venue in an alternative allocated area.
- Reserved Seat Members who purchase a Reserved Seat Transferable Associate Card will have access to an additional reserved seat beside the Member’s seat in the relevant allocated area (whether Bays 304 or 305 or the relevant alternative area in the event of any variation or substitution, as outlined above), subject to seat availability and any capacity constraints.
- Reserved Seat Members will be provided with a priority period to purchase Daily Seat Holds for all Adelaide Strikers BBL matches in Bays 304 and 305 or such other area(s) as notified by SACA.
• SACA Big Bash Members
- For Adelaide Strikers BBL matches in the 2024/25 season, seating for SACA Big Bash Members and their guests will be in the western stand (excluding seats reserved for Daily Seat Holds in Bays 304 and 305), plus Level 3 of the Riverbank
- Seating in the SACA Members’ Area is non-allocated seating and seats are available on a first come, first served
- SACA cannot guarantee that a seat in the SACA Members’ Area will be available for every Big Bash Member or Daily Guest Pass holder (if applicable).
ALCOHOL-FREE ZONE SEATING
- Bay 314 and 315 of the western stand will be an alcohol-free zone for all men’s international and Adelaide Strikers BBL matches at Adelaide Oval.
TRANSFERABLE ASSOCIATE CARDS
- Each season, a Full, Country, Junior or Reserved Seat Member can elect to purchase one Transferable Associate Card for the upcoming season, subject to

- To prioritise Members’ access to cricket at Adelaide Oval over that of guests, the Board will set a limit on the number of Transferable Associate Cards that can be sold each season. The limit set by the Board will be at a number greater than the highest ever historical Transferable Associate Card Members who purchase a Transferable Associate Card for the 2024/25 season will be offered a priority period to purchase a Transferable Associate Card in the following 2025/26 season.
- A Transferable Associate Cardholder has the right to free entry to the venue and Members’ Area for all Cricket Australia matches (international and domestic) played at Adelaide Oval and Karen Rolton Oval including Adelaide Strikers' home matches and finals. A Transferrable Associate Card offers no other Membership privileges.
- A Transferable Associate Card can be used by an adult or

MEMBER CARDS
- Your Member Card is strictly non-transferable. Penalties will apply for the relevant Member if a Member’s Card is used by another

MEMBER ACCESS
- Subject to the “Member Rights and Obligations” section below, for the 2024/25 season:
- Full, Country, Junior and Reserved Seat Members will be eligible to access the venue and SACA Members’ Area for all Cricket Australia matches (international and domestic) played at Adelaide Oval and Karen Rolton Oval, including Adelaide Strikers matches; and
- SACA Big Bash Members will be eligible to access the venue and SACA Members’ Area for all Adelaide Strikers matches played at Adelaide Oval and Karen Rolton SACA Big Bash Members are not eligible to access any other Cricket Australia (domestic or international) cricket at Adelaide Oval or Karen Rolton Oval.
- SACA Membership does not provide entry to private events held at the Adelaide Oval, e.g. soccer, concerts etc. However, in most instances SACA will endeavour to negotiate on Members’ behalf for some benefit of either discount and/or priority booking.
MEMBERS’ CHILDREN & GRANDCHILDREN
- Children nine years of age or younger as at 1 September 2024, if accompanying their parent or grandparent who is a SACA Member, can gain free access to the venue. For children and grandchildren of Full, Country and Reserved Seat Members, this entitlement relates to all Cricket Australia international and domestic cricket matches, including Adelaide Strikers For children and grandchildren of SACA Big Bash Members, this entitlement applies to Adelaide Strikers matches only. This is not available to Transferable Associate Card holders or Reserved Seat Transferable Associate Cardholders.
- Reserved Seat Members should note that if their child or grandchild is granted free access to the venue in accordance with the above, the child or grandchild is not permitted to sit in the Reserved Seat Members’ Area (unless that child is using a Reserved Seat Transferable Associate Card). Accordingly, the Reserved Seat Member will be unable to sit in or use their reserved seat, given their responsibility for supervising that child or Both can, however, sit in the unreserved, first come first served seating in the general SACA Members’ Area.
- If a child turns 10 years of age before 1 September 2024, they can no longer gain free access to the venue with the They must enter using either their own Junior Membership, Junior Reserved Seat Membership, a Transferable Associate Card or Reserved Seat Transferable Associate Card, a Member Daily Guest Pass (when available) or SACA Big Bash Membership (which provides access to Adelaide Strikers matches only).
RIGHTS TO VOTE AND ATTEND MEETINGS / DIRECTOR ELIGIBILITY
• Full and Country Members
- Full and Country Members are Voting Members and are entitled to receive notice of, attend and vote at meetings of The SACA Constitution requires that Member Elected Directors on the SACA Board must be Full or Country Member at all times during their appointment. A Full or Country Member is therefore eligible to nominate for and hold office as a Member Elected Director (subject to the relevant person also meeting the other Director eligibility requirements set out in the Constitution and Corporations Act).
• Adult Reserved Seat Members
- Adult Reserved Seat Members are Voting Members and are entitled to receive notice of, attend and vote at meetings of However, given the SACA Constitution currently requires that Member Elected Directors on the SACA Board must be a Full or Country Member at all times during their appointment, an Adult Reserved Seat Member is not eligible to nominate for or hold office as a Member Elected Director at this time.
- Should an Adult Reserved Seat Member wish to hold office as a Member Elected Director, they would therefore first need to apply to revert to Full or Country Membership.
• Junior Members and Junior Reserved Members
- Junior Members and Junior Reserved Members are not Voting Members and are not entitled to receive notice of, attend and vote at meetings of SACA. They are also not eligible to hold office as a Member Elected Director on the SACA Board.
• SACA Big Bash Members
- SACA Big Bash Members are not Voting Members and are not entitled to receive notice of, attend or vote at meetings of SACA. Nor are they eligible to hold office as a Member Elected Director on the SACA Board.
SACA RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS
- The scheduling of Cricket Australia (CA) matches (international and domestic) is controlled by CA and is subject to change at any time (before or after the start of the season). SACA is not responsible for any scheduling decisions or changes made by CA, which may be influenced by matters which include but are not limited to unforeseen circumstances, safety and security concerns, weather or playing conditions and decisions from any relevant authority. SACA will provide notice of any scheduling changes made by CA that have been notified to us, wherever it is practicable to do so.
- Nothing in these terms and conditions limits, excludes or modifies any statutory consumer guarantee or any guarantee, condition or warranty for which the exclusion would cause any part of these terms and conditions to be void or to contravene any statute or the Australian Consumer Law (Non-Excludable Right). To the maximum extent permitted by law and subject to any Non-Excludable Right, all SACA Membership Fees (including the annual SACA Membership Subscription Fees, Entrance Fees, Absentee Fees and Late Fees as applicable) are not refundable (either in whole or part) or transferable.
- SACA reserves the right (acting itself or through the Adelaide Oval Stadium Management Authority Ltd (AOSMA)) to determine the maximum capacity during any event held at Adelaide Oval (or any other relevant venue), having regard to factors which include but are not limited to attendance numbers, health and safety requirements and compliance with laws or directives of an applicable authority. Members must, at all times, adhere to, and comply with, all conditions of entry in force from time to time.
CHANGE OF CONTACT DETAILS

PRIVACY COLLECTION NOTICE

SACA is committed to protecting the personal information which we collect from you in connection with Membership applications and renewals, including of any child for whom you are their parent or legal guardian. Where we refer to ‘you’ or ‘your’ in this privacy collection notice, this includes any child whose personal information you have provided to us, in your capacity as their parent or legal guardian. When you provide personal information to us during the Membership process, whether by completing this form or during your interactions with us online, via email or over the telephone, we will use and disclose it to process your application or renewal and the associated payments for SACA Big Bash Membership, the Reserved Seat Waitlist or your SACA Full, Country, Junior or Reserved Seat Membership for the Membership Year 1 September 2024 to 31 August 2025 (as the case may be); update your Membership details and communication preferences; manage your Membership of SACA; manage your attendance at venues where matches are held; promote or facilitate others’ promotion of events, products or services of SACA or third parties (including our sponsors, corporate partners and suppliers) which may interest you; and ensure your compliance as a Member with SACA’s Constitution and By-Laws. We may disclose your personal information to third parties which include but are not limited to venue operators (such as AOSMA), Cricket Australia, payment processing providers, direct mailing service providers and other third parties whose events, products or services may interest you. If you do not provide your personal information to us, we cannot process your Membership applications and renewals. However, you may choose to opt-out of receiving Membership renewal reminders and/or promotional materials for events, products or services of SACA and/or third parties. If you opt-out of receiving Membership renewal reminders, you may miss important deadlines. If you opt-out of receiving promotional materials, you may be unable to access additional privileges, benefits and discounts offered by SACA or those third parties. If you do not opt-out of receiving these materials, you will continue to receive details of these events, products or services directly from us. We strongly encourage you to review our Privacy Policy for more information about how we collect, disclose (including to overseas recipients), manage, protect, store and use your personal information.
