Grants and Scholarships

Each year, there are a number of grants and scholarships available to local clubs and players as part of our mission to grow the game of cricket in South Australia.

These funds are distributed based on merit for applicants who best meet the criteria stipulated by each award at the discretion of the SACA, or on the criteria set by the external organisation.

  • SACA is offering the opportunity for schools to each receive a grant to install a new cricket pitch (hard wicket) on one of its ovals or open spaces.

  • Cricket is investing more into community cricket facility projects than ever before via the Australian Cricket Infrastructure Fund (ACIF).

  • South Australian Cricket Infrastructure Strategy 2019-2029

  • The Junior Cricket Equipment Program provides schools and clubs with the opportunity to supply cricket kits for new teams and/or to upgrade cricket kits for existing teams.

  • Each season The Les Favell Foundation supports young cricketers in South Australia achieve their dreams of playing at the highest level.

  • This resource will assist you in planning for any club future infrastructure needs

  • There are a range of non-cricket specific grants that could be helpful to players, clubs and facilities across the state.

  • The Grassroots Cricket Fund (GCF) was established in 2019 by Australia’s professional cricketers to strengthen grassroots cricket for generations to come. The GCF ensures the cricket clubs throughout Australia gets the investment it needs to support those who help drive grassroots cricket and bring communities together.
