Entry

Our Members' match day experience is first class, with access to premium seats in the western stands and Riverbank Stand. Membership of the SACA allows entry to the venue and SACA Members’ Area at Adelaide Oval and Karen Rolton Oval for all International Matches including Test, One Day International and T20 International matches, as well as BBL, WBBL and domestic matches.   

No additional entry ticket is required for the above-mentioned matches when using a SACA Membership. 

Seating

Seating in the Members’ Area is non-allocated and is available on a ‘first-come, first-served' basis, which gives Members the flexibility to sit with other Members within the SACA Members' Area.  

Members can select an available seat in the Chappell Stand, Sir Donald Bradman Pavilion and the Sir Edwin Smith Stand (western stands) as well as Level 3 and Level 5 in the Riverbank Stand. During BBL matches, seating on Level 5 in the Riverbank Stand only includes bays 520 – 523. 

Members who prefer a reserved seat within the SACA Members' Area, can purchase Daily Seat Holds (subject to availability) or upgrade to a Reserved Seat Membership (subject to availability), both located in Bays 304 and 305 of the Sir Edwin Smith Stand (western stand).

Age Requirements

An application for the Membership waitlist may be lodged at any time irrespective of the age of the applicant. No applicant shall be offered Membership until they have reached the top of the waitlist and is at least 10 years of age (on or before 31 August). Applicants aged between 10- 14 years that choose not to accept the offer of Membership will automatically be added back on the waitlist and the applicant will be re-offered again at the age of 15.  

SACA recommends Members add their child/grandchild to the SACA Membership Waitlist as young as possible to ensure that once they turn 10 years of age they have the best chance of receiving a Membership offer.

What facilities do SACA Members have access to?

SACA Members have exclusive access to premium facilities throughout the Members’ Area in both the Riverbank Stand (Levels 3 and 5) and western stands. 

The SACA Members’ Area has a range of indoor and outdoor spaces boasting world-class food and beverage vendors, including the SACA Village Green, Lindsay Head Terrace, William Magarey Room, Lyn Fullston Lawns and Bodyline Bar. Additional bars and kiosks throughout the Members’ Area provide a place for everyone to enjoy their time at the cricket. 

The Kids are catered for too, with Kids Zones at both International and Adelaide Strikers home games. 

Can SACA Members bring a guest into the SACA Members' Area?

SACA Members can bring a guest into the SACA Members’ Area via a Daily Guest Pass or a Transferable Associate Card.  

Members have the opportunity to purchase a Transferable Associate Card (subject to availability) during the annual renewal period, allowing the user entry into Adelaide Oval and the SACA Members’ Area for all matches.  

A Daily Guest Pass provides entry into Adelaide Oval and the SACA Members’ Area for selected match days throughout the season. 

Members can purchase Daily Guest Passes for Days 4 and 5 of the Men’s International Test Match, One Day International matches, T20 International matches and Adelaide Strikers matches. Members can also access up to five complimentary Guest Passes for domestic matches at Adelaide Oval.

Can I bring my child/grandchild under 10 to the Members' Area?

Yes! SACA Members’ children and grandchildren who are nine (9) years of age or younger as at 1 September of the Membership year have free entry into Adelaide Oval and the SACA Members’ Area when accompanied by the SACA Member. This entitlement relates to Cricket Australia International, Adelaide Strikers and domestic cricket matches.  

How do I join the SACA Waitlist?

Click the link above or here, fill out your details as prompted and pay the once-off $40 waitlist joining fee. There are no other ongoing waitlist fees.

What happens once I've lodged my application form?

Once you have lodged your application, you will be sent an email acknowledging your application. Please ensure your contact details are kept up to date whilst you are on the waitlist. 

You can login and update your details through the online Membership portal or contact SACA Member Services during business hours and we will be happy to assist.

When will I receive a SACA Membership Offer?

The SACA Board of Management determines the number of people offered Membership each year and the number of offers varies from year to year. Offers are typically made between May and October. 

We are unable to precisely determine the length of time you will be required to wait before you are offered Membership, but current estimates are 1-3 years. All offers of Membership will be notified via email so it is important to keep your details up to date. You can update your details here.  

What are the categories of Membership?

Full - must be aged at least 18 years old and live within 80 kms of the Adelaide GPO or outside Australia.  

Country - must be aged at least 18 years old and live more than 80 kms from the Adelaide GPO by the shortest rail or road route; or live in any other Australian State or Territory. 

Junior - must be aged 10 to 17 years old as at 1 September for the Membership year. Members turning 18 during the season will remain as Juniors until the next year when they will transfer to Full, Country or Reserved Seat Membership. 

Adult Reserved Seat - must be aged at least 18 years old. Adult Reserved Seat Members have the same benefits of Full Membership, plus the confidence of a reserved seat at Adelaide Oval for Cricket Australia men’s international matches. 

Junior Reserved Seat - must be aged 10 to 17 years old as at 1 September of the Membership year. Junior Reserved Seat Members have the same benefits of Junior Membership, plus the confidence of a reserved seat at Adelaide Oval for Cricket Australia men’s international matches. Members turning 18 during the season will remain as Juniors until the next year when they will transfer to Full, Country or Adult Reserved Seat Membership. 

Adult SACA Big Bash – must be aged at least 18 years old. SACA Big Bash Membership permits access to Adelaide Strikers matches at Adelaide Oval and Karen Rolton Oval. SACA Big Bash Members do not get access to international and domestic matches. There is currently no waitlist for this Membership category. 

Junior SACA Big Bash – must be aged 10 – 17 years old as at 1 September of the Membership year. SACA Big Bash Membership permits access to Adelaide Strikers matches at Adelaide Oval and Karen Rolton Oval. SACA Big Bash Members do not get access to international and domestic matches. There is currently no waitlist for this Membership category. 

What fees are applicable when joining as a SACA Member?  

Once you receive an offer of Membership, a once-off Entrance Fee (currently $320) and the annual Membership Subscription Fee must be paid. The Entrance Fee is waived for Junior Members.

Country Membership Subscription Fee - $360   
Junior Membership Subscription Fee - $230 
Adult Reserved Seat Membership - $545 
Junior Reserved Seat Membership - $360 
Transferable Associate Card (optional) - $465 
Adult SACA Big Bash Membership - $200 (currently no waitlist) 
Junior SACA Big Bash Membership - $40 (currently no waitlist) 

Do I have to accept the SACA Membership when I receive my offer?

Applicants aged 15 years and over:   
If you choose not to accept the offer of SACA Membership, your Membership offer will be cancelled and your name will not be added to the end of the waitlist. You will be required to re-apply to the waitlist if you wish to receive another Membership offer in the future.   
   
Applicants aged 10-14 years:   
If you choose not to accept the offer of SACA Membership your waitlist position will be preserved and you will be re-offered at age 15. If you wish to take up the deferred offer before the age of 15 you can do so by contacting SACA.
